Global Pact Trading is a South African wholesale and retail business headquartered in Gqeberha, Eastern Cape. We supply a comprehensive range of products including agricultural machinery, construction equipment, generators, electronics, appliances, furniture, tools and more, to businesses and individuals across South Africa.

Acceptance of Terms

By accessing our website, creating an account, placing an order or using any of our services, you confirm that you:

Products & Pricing

Product Information

We make every effort to display product descriptions, images and specifications as accurately as possible. However, we do not warrant that product descriptions, images, pricing or other content on our website is completely accurate, complete, reliable or error-free. Colours and appearances of products in photographs may differ slightly from the actual product.

Pricing

All prices displayed on our website are in South African Rand (ZAR) and include VAT at the current applicable rate, unless otherwise stated. We reserve the right to change prices at any time without prior notice.

Price Errors: In the event that a product is listed at an incorrect price due to a typographical error or system error, we reserve the right to cancel any orders placed at the incorrect price, even after an order confirmation has been sent. We will notify you promptly and offer a full refund or the opportunity to purchase the product at the correct price.

Product Availability

All products are subject to availability. We reserve the right to discontinue any product at any time. If a product you have ordered is no longer available, we will contact you to arrange a refund or suitable alternative.

Orders & Payment

Placing an Order

When you place an order on our website, you are making an offer to purchase the selected products at the stated price. Your order is not confirmed until you receive an order confirmation email from us. We reserve the right to decline or cancel any order at our discretion.

Order Confirmation

An order confirmation email will be sent to the email address you provided upon successful placement of your order. This confirmation serves as acknowledgement of receipt of your order and does not constitute acceptance or guarantee of fulfilment.

Payment

  • Payment must be made in full at the time of placing your order, unless other arrangements have been agreed in writing
  • We accept the payment methods displayed at checkout — these may include credit/debit card, EFT and other approved payment gateways
  • All transactions are processed through secure, encrypted payment systems
  • We do not store your full card details on our servers
  • Orders will only be processed and dispatched once full payment has been received and cleared

Order Cancellation

You may cancel an order before it has been dispatched by contacting us immediately at contact@globalpacttrading.co.za or via WhatsApp on +27 78 884 9552. Once an order has been dispatched, it cannot be cancelled and our returns policy will apply.

Delivery & Shipping

We deliver nationwide across all 9 South African provinces from our warehouse in Gqeberha, Eastern Cape.

Delivery Timeframes

  • Standard delivery: 3–7 business days for most South African regions
  • Remote or outlying areas: 7–14 business days
  • Large or heavy items: Freight shipping — we will contact you with a separate delivery quote

Delivery Conditions

  • Delivery timeframes are estimates only and are not guaranteed. Delays may occur due to courier capacity, public holidays or circumstances beyond our control
  • You are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address. We are not liable for failed or delayed delivery due to an incorrect address
  • Deliveries require a signature or confirmation upon receipt. If you are not available, the courier may leave a delivery notice or reattempt delivery
  • Risk of loss or damage to products passes to you upon delivery
  • Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your location and the size/weight of your order

If your order has not arrived within the estimated timeframe, please contact us at contact@globalpacttrading.co.za and we will investigate with our courier partner.

Returns, Refunds & Exchanges

Return Window

We accept returns within 7 days of delivery for items that are unused, undamaged and in their original packaging, subject to the conditions below.

Conditions for Returns

  • The item must be in its original, unused condition with all original packaging, tags and accessories
  • Proof of purchase (order number or invoice) must be provided
  • You must contact us before returning any item to obtain a return authorisation
  • Items returned without prior authorisation may not be accepted

Non-Returnable Items

  • Custom or made-to-order products
  • Products that have been used, installed or assembled
  • Perishable or consumable items
  • Items damaged due to misuse, negligence or improper installation by the customer
  • Large machinery or equipment where delivery costs are prohibitive — please contact us to discuss

Refunds

Once your return has been received and inspected, we will notify you of the outcome. If approved, a refund will be processed to your original payment method within 7–10 business days. Shipping costs are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error or a defective product.

Defective or Damaged Products

If you receive a product that is defective or damaged, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photographs of the damage. We will arrange a replacement or full refund at no additional cost to you.

Warranties & Product Liability

Products sold on our website are covered by the manufacturer's warranty where applicable. Warranty terms and durations vary by product and manufacturer. Details of any applicable warranty will be provided with the product or on request.

Our liability in respect of defective products is governed by the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 of South Africa, which provides you with certain statutory rights. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits or excludes rights you have under applicable consumer protection legislation.

We do not offer any additional warranty beyond that provided by the manufacturer unless expressly stated in the product listing.

Intellectual Property

All content on the Global Pact Trading website — including but not limited to text, product descriptions, images, graphics, logos, icons, design and layout — is the property of Global Pact Trading or its content suppliers and is protected by South African and international intellectual property laws.

You may not reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell, republish, transmit or otherwise exploit any content from our website for commercial purposes without our prior written consent. Limited personal, non-commercial use is permitted provided you do not modify the content and retain all copyright and other proprietary notices.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by South African law, Global Pact Trading shall not be liable for:

  • Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising from your use of our website or products
  • Loss of profits, revenue, data or business opportunities
  • Errors, inaccuracies or omissions in product descriptions, pricing or availability
  • Unauthorised access to or alteration of your data
  • Any matter beyond our reasonable control, including acts of God, load shedding, courier delays or supplier failures

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of our website or your purchase of products shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific product or service giving rise to the claim.

Note: Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under South African law.

User Accounts

You may register for a customer account on our website to facilitate faster checkout, order tracking and account management. When creating an account, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate, complete and up-to-date information
  • Maintain the security and confidentiality of your login credentials
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account
  • Accept responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if we reasonably believe that your account has been compromised, is being used fraudulently or if you have breached these terms.

Trade Partner Accounts

Our Verified Trade Partner Programme is available to qualifying businesses. By applying for and accepting a trade partner account, you additionally agree to:

  • Use trade pricing exclusively for legitimate business purchasing purposes and not for personal resale at prices that undercut our retail pricing in a manner that damages our business
  • Maintain the confidentiality of any trade pricing, discounts or terms provided to you as a partner
  • Provide accurate business information during the application process
  • Promptly notify us of any changes to your business status or details

We reserve the right to revoke trade partner status at any time if we believe the account is being misused or if the partner fails to meet minimum order requirements or other conditions communicated at the time of approval.

Prohibited Conduct

The following conduct is strictly prohibited on or in connection with our website and services:

  • Placing fraudulent or speculative orders
  • Using another person's payment details without their authorisation
  • Submitting false or misleading information during registration, checkout or trade partner application
  • Attempting to circumvent or exploit our pricing, discount or promotional systems
  • Posting false, defamatory or misleading product reviews
  • Engaging in any conduct that could harm our reputation, business or customers

Violation of these prohibitions may result in immediate cancellation of your orders, termination of your account and, where appropriate, legal action.

Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the South African courts for the resolution of any dispute arising from or in connection with these terms.

In the event of a dispute, we encourage you to contact us first at contact@globalpacttrading.co.za to seek an amicable resolution before initiating formal proceedings. We are committed to resolving complaints fairly and promptly.

If you are a consumer, you may also refer unresolved disputes to the National Consumer Commission (NCC) at thencc.org.za or the relevant consumer protection authority.

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent revision.

Your continued use of our website or services after any changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms. We encourage you to review these terms periodically. For material changes, we may notify registered account holders by email.
